GRITTER – Interview with ADAM

1. What would possess you to join forces with the Scumdogs of the Universe for the 2014 GWAR B Q?

ADAM – Been long time fans and friends. It’s the best party of the year!

2. What can people expect from your set?

ADAM – People should expect a blast to the face and sense from our set. Fast , powerful and loud ! New tunes as well!

3. They say the GWAR B Q is the “wildest party anywhere”… What are you looking forward to the most about it?

ADAM – Looking forward to seeing all of the bands this year. Outstanding line up. All of the vendors..and the freaks !!!!!

4. Now that the GWAR-B-Q will also serve as a tribute to Dave Brockie and Oderus Urungus, do you have any personal reflections on the man and/or the myth and how that shapes your involvement with the event this year?

ADAM – Yes, being from Richmond, the blow if his death was felt like a shockwave.  For 30 years Dave has been at the epicenter of creativity and what it literally defines to be a Richmond musician. He has had the back of this city from the get, even when the city may have not had his. He is truly missed!

5. As a fan, do you have a favorite GWAR story? How have the Scumdogs affected your life… go!

ADAM – One of the first shows that I had played was opening for gwar in 1989. We played 3 songs and they got off the stage. We were pretty bad, but they never made us feel inferior. We were just kids, they were larger than life. I thank them for that mermory!!!
